How to Play

Pick up a tile

Tap a tile in the tray to select it. Each tile carries two words — one on each end.

Rotate to match

Use the ⟳ button to rotate a selected tile so the right word faces its open neighbor. Once placed, a tile's orientation is locked, so get it right before you set it down.

Place it on the board

Tap an open slot to lay the tile down. Square tiles are doubles: they show the same word on every side, so they never need rotating and can connect to more than two neighbors — that's where the board turns a corner.

Read the clues

Every seam between two tiles carries a clue icon (see the legend below the board) telling you what relationship the touching words need to share — synonym, antonym, compound word, or portmanteau.

Submit when ready

Placement is free — nothing is checked until you tap Submit, which marks each seam right or wrong so you can pick tiles back up and try again. Stuck? Solve reveals the answer, but that round won't count toward your streak.
